Day 1: Early Pick Up from Kigali and Transfer to Akagera National Park - Boat Cruise

On arrival at the airport, our waiting driver-guide will meet and brief you on this 3-day tour. We will then transfer to the park on the 2.5-hour journey from Kigali. Alternatively, if you are already in Kigali, our driver-guide will pick you up at your hotel after breakfast, and drive to the Kayonza district in the Eastern Province of Rwanda. The journey to Akagera National Park will reward you with planned en-route stopovers along the route. Feel free to ask your driver-guide questions about the wonderful scenery and even request photographic stopovers along the way. As you arrive at the park, you will check in to your booked safari accommodation at the lodge and order your lunch. You will then proceed for a sunset boat ride on Lake Ihema with a chance to see the aquatic mammals such as hippos and crocodiles in the lake or on the shores. You will retire and drive back to the lodge, dinner, and rest.

Day 2: Safari Game Drive in Akagera National Park- Back to Musanze

You will start this day early in the morning after having your breakfast. You will leave for a full-day safari game drive in the park. (Order your packed lunch). You can expect to see the Big Five mammals (lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and leopard) as well as antelopes, kobs, and baboons, among others. Akagera National Park is a varied habitat for wildlife species in Rwanda and a birder's haven with more than 500 bird species in the park. Later, in the afternoon you will transfer back to Kigali then Musanze. Driving to Musanze the home of mountain gorillas, golden monkeys, and hikes. On your way, you will be having time to discover and view Rwandan landscapes plus the sunriset. Upon arrival in Musanze, you will proceed to for check inn your hotel and stay for night

Day 3: Volcanoes National Park Golden Mokyes trekking

In the morning after breakfast your Guide will pick you from the hotel drive to the headquarter for briefing. After completing the park formalities, you are embarking on a lifetime experience of trekking the famous golden monkeys. Once you spot them, you are allowed to spend an hour watching them do their daily activities. After completing your experiences, relax and have culture Village experiences. depending on your flight details, and drive to Kigali International Airport for your outbound flight back home.
